TopShot has partnered with a leading sports flooring solutions provider Tarkett Sports Indoor to get the right balance of bounce, cushion, and friction on the courts for both badminton and pickleball players to enjoy without any inhibitions.
Badminton is a multi-surface sport. While many facilities use badminton-specific mats, which are typically installed and removed periodically, they range from 3.5 mm to 6.5 mm in thickness and provide cushion and shock absorption, but may not offer the same long-term performance as permanent flooring.
Mr. Pullela Gopichand, Chief National Coach for the Indian national badminton team, praised the world-class badminton facilities at TopShot during the inauguration of the court area. He specifically commended the quality of the flooring, lighting, the space between the courts, and the background – all of which create an ideal environment for playing the game with complete confidence and without any reservations.
At TopShot, we installed our flooring using Tarkett’s PolyTurf Plus Pad and Pour flooring technology with a 9 mm shock pad to provide the ideal shock absorption and cushioning for both badminton and pickleball players. It is a seamless polyurethane sports surface designed for durability and performance.

2 – Chemically Bonded Game Lines:
Meticulously applied polyurethane marking paint creates precise and permanent game lines.
3 – Formulated Elastomeric Resin:
This resin layer provides exceptional ball rebound and extra durability to the system.
4 – Two-Component Seal Layer:
The primary characteristic of the flooring system is its seamless playing surface. This coating layer seals shock pad pores for a smooth and seamless floor.
5 – Recycled Rubber Shock Pad:
Made of 100% recycled rubber, this thick shock pad base layer provides cushioning and shock absorption.
We have added cushion technology with excellent fatigue reduction, allowing for longer and safer play for both recreational and competitive levels. This technology provides superior fatigue reduction, better sports performance, and higher resistance to rolling and static loads.
- We have selected a surface that will reduce impact force when badminton and pickleball players jump or move around the court.
- Pickleball ball rebound will be uniform upon interaction with the surface.
- Embossing and surface treatment provide the proper balance of friction and grip control. This reduces friction burn risks and provides safer protection when moving around the court area.
Non-Marking Shoes
While playing badminton or pickleball, all players must have non-marking shoes at TopShot to enhance your game performance while protecting the playing surface and preventing marks or scratches.
